The “Orange Batman” is a global movement and tribute inspired by Ariel Bibas, a four-year-old boy who was taken hostage alongside his family on October 7th and later murdered in captivity. Ariel loved Batman and was often seen wearing a Batman costume, particularly during Purim celebrations.
In his memory, people around the world have worn orange Batman shirts and capes to honour Ariel and the Bibas family. The colour orange symbolises Ariel and his brother Kfir’s distinctive red hair, as well as their mother, Shiri.
A portion of all profits from this collection is donated to Second Home — The Quiet Within the Horse — a healing initiative based at Aviv Ranch in Israel. Created in response to the trauma following the October 7th war, the project supports individuals living with PTSD through therapeutic and rehabilitative care.
Its work focuses on helping IDF soldiers navigate combat trauma and the invisible wounds carried long after war ends.
